Ooooh Hair!

Here's a look at my hair progression.  It took me HOURS to figure this out.  I'm not sure if any of these make me happy.  I have to go back to the drawing board.  I wouldn't make a good hairstylist.  On a good note I found a shader trick to make my renders go faster with hair. I need sleep.

A Day at the MET

Yesterday I was chillaxing at the MET.  Whenever I go to the MET, I can never finish a drawing.   Something crazy usually happens.  Someone would stand over me as I draw then start talking to me about something completely irrelevant to what I am doing and I pretend to care, sometimes I get invested in the conversation and I may care a little bit.   I usually draw 'til the guards remove me.

Just got my hands on "S a a H" and although everything came out WRONG, I still kinda like this.   It's supposed to be a redhead, so time to problem solve.  I'm sure Fiber mesh would've been much easier and less time consuming, but I love the challenge.

Quick Tweaks

I really have to fix these eyes. Not solid enough for me.  I have to figure out a new eye shader because this one isn't working for me.  I may just try SSS on the eye because I hear it work wonders. I'm going for the Disney feel so I have to go a hundred and ten. I should sharping his eyelids too.  I also want to work on this skin shader some more, it need some specular.  I honestly can't wait to jump on to some SHAVE AND A HAIRCUT!!! It's going to make it stand out.  I need to go to sleep, I've been working on this since Saturday.

ZBrush Sculpture WIP

A ZBrush WIP.  I'm going to focus on the details of this sculpture and work the lighting some more.  The hands and feet are a nightmare simply because I decided not to work symmetrically.  I have to finish my thesis before I can do all the fancy stuff but it will happen after Wednesday.  I'm think of designing this like a Greek sculpture and giving him a pimp cane.
