Progress

Another day on the model. I can't wait to texture this.  One step at a time.

I Heart Sculpting

Further along.  I love sculpting.

Sculpting Tonight !!!

I'm getting ready tonight to work on my E'corche for my sculpture class at the Grand Central Art Academy.

Fart Boy WIP

In the process of modeling Cory Loftis' design titled "Look at This Stupid Pancake Crab Thing".   Dude is a genius.  I hope I do him justice.

Cartoon Silhouettes

Found these AWESOME silhouettes from Bob Flynn's blog.  This image is from a challenge he offers to identify the 34 cartoons based purely on their silhouettes.  This challenge definitely helps me as a modeler/character designer.  You gain a greater appreciation for shapes and forms.

Kanye Test

Sculpt needs tweaking.

Jay-Z WIP

Back to business.  It's been a while, took a little break to brush up on some things, learn a little bit here and there and prepare myself for the "real world."  My new personal project is the rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z.  Like Jay-Z, I'm a native of Brooklyn, New York and I thought it's only right that I take what I've learned in these last couple of months and sculpt one of my favorite rappers. Below you'll find my original base mesh next to the retopo'd version and my first pass in ZBrush.
